ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,409,033 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 28 January 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,409,033 Covid-19 cases, this includes 313,164 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,309,270 people (144,261 deaths)
- Philippines: 3,493,447 people (53,736 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,850,408 people (31,940 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,415,472 people (22,129 deaths)
- Vietnam: 2,203,208 people (37,291 deaths)
- Myanmar: 534,671 people (19,310 deaths)
- Singapore: 333,071 people (850 deaths)
- Laos: 132,130 people (534 deaths)
- Cambodia: 121,150 people (3,015 deaths)
- Brunei: 16,206 people (98 deaths)
